Maine Craft Distilling
Maine Craft Distilling has been making rum in Portland, Maine since 2013. These are the rums they’re currently producing:
Tashtego White Rum, a pot-distilled, Grade A molasses-based rum that’s charcoal filtered and bottled unaged at 80 proof.
Ration Expedition Style Rum, a version of the base used in their White Rum that’s aged in heavily charred new American white oak barrels for two years and bottled at 90 proof.
Queequeg Spiced Rum, a version of the base used in their White Rum that’s infused with spices and oak staves. Maine maple syrup is also added before it’s bottled unaged at 90 proof.
