Malahat Spirits Co. has been making rum in San Diego, California since 2012. These are the rums they’re currently producing:

• Malahat Rum, a pot-distilled, molasses-based rum that’s bottled unaged at 80 proof.

• Malahat Cabernet Barrel Aged Rum, an aged version of the based used in their Malahat Rum that spends over two years in used Cabernet Sauvignon barrels. Bottled at 92 proof.

• Malahat Spiced Rum, a naturally spiced version of the base used in their Malahat Rum that’s bottled at 80 proof.

• Malahat Ginger Rum, a version of the base used in their Malahat Rum that’s infused with real ginger and bottled at 70 proof.

• Malahat Black Tea Rum, a version of the base used in their Malahat Rum that’s infused with black tea leaves and bottled at 70 proof.
