Roulaison Distilling Company

Roulaison Distilling Company has been making rum in New Orleans, Louisiana since 2016. These are the rums they’re currently producing:

• Roulaison Traditional Pot Distilled Rum, a pot-distilled, Louisiana molasses-based rum that’s bottled unfiltered and unaged at 88.2 proof with no added sugar, flavor, or color.

• Roulaison Overproof Rum, a version of the base used in their Traditional Pot Distilled Rum that’s bottled unfiltered and unaged at 114.5 proof with no added sugar, flavor, or color.

• Roulaison Aged Rum, a series of single barrel batch releases all aged over one year in used bourbon barrels (at the time of this writing). Each release has its own “peculiarities,” as the distillery calls them, from wine yeast fermentations to cask strength bottlings. • Roulaison Amer Herbal Rum Liqueur, a version of the base used in their Traditional Pot Distilled Rum that’s infused with herbs, roots, and spices and given a touch of local raw sugar. Bottled at 83.8 proof.
